On Saturday, March 7, 2026, the leadership team of We Believe Kingdom Church got together for a morning of focused work. We held our session at the St. Louis County Library Clark Family Branch, taking advantage of the community space to dive deep into our plans. This was not a meeting for just talking or giving general updates. Instead, it was a day for making real choices and setting clear plans in motion. As we get ready for this next chapter, your leadership team is focused on moving with a clear purpose to do exactly what God has called us to do as an authentic church.
We spent our time on two main things: finishing the plans for our new church building and laying out the strategy for our community non-profit, We Believe STL.
Making the Final Calls on Our New Home
The physical space of our church is where we come together to grow, and we want every part of it to be done well. During our time on Saturday, we moved past the ideas phase and made the final decisions on how the building will look and feel.
The team decided on a design that is clean and welcoming. We officially chose neutral colors for the big items like the carpet and the sanctuary chairs. These neutral tones are a practical choice because they create a calm environment for worship. It keeps the focus on the Word and the Spirit without any unnecessary distractions.

To make the building feel like home, we are bringing in our specific colors through accent pieces. We will be using Teal, Light Blue, and Orange in very intentional ways. You will see these colors pop in the lobby furniture, the signs around the building, and the artwork on the walls. We want the moment you walk inside to feel both peaceful and full of energy. These choices were made so that our building feels modern and alive, but also like a place where you can find rest.
We Believe STL: Taking Action in Our City
The second part of our meeting was all about our reach outside of the church walls. We are working hard to make sure that We Believe STL is set up to truly help the St. Louis area.
The main goal for this leadership session was to move forward with our research and partnership plans. The leadership has started a process to find the right people to work with. This involves two big steps:
- Finding the Right Partners: We are looking for other local groups and leaders who share our heart for the city. We want to work where we can make the biggest difference and help the most people.
- Looking for Grants: The team is now looking into specific grants that can help fund our mission. By finding these outside resources, we can do much more than we could on our own. It allows us to dream bigger and serve more people.

This is a season of doing the behind-the-scenes administrative work. The decisions we made on Saturday ensure that we are building the non-profit on a solid foundation of excellence. You can learn more about our mission and the heart behind We Believe STL to see why this work is so vital.
Serving Our Neighbors
The reason we are looking into grants and partnerships is simple: we want to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Much of our meeting focused on our mission to help the unhoused people in our city.
We know that those without a place to stay in St. Louis face very difficult challenges, and we want to help meet those needs. On Saturday, we talked about how to turn our desire to help into a real plan. We believe there is incredible strength to serve in St. Louis when we work together. By making this group a priority in our research and outreach, we are making sure our non-profit is a bridge between the church and the streets. We are not just talking about the problem. We are deciding on the best ways to bring real hope and help to those who need it most.
Moving Forward Together
Our leadership meeting on Saturday showed how much our leadership is ready to work. We are sharing these details because you are a part of this vision too. We want you to see the care and the real steps being taken to look after We Believe Kingdom Church and We Believe STL.
We are not just dreaming about what could happen. We are building it right now. Please keep praying for us as we carry out these decisions. Pray for the people setting up our new decor and for the team navigating the paperwork for our non-profit. If you have questions about our community or want to get more involved, feel free to contact us anytime. We are doing all of this for the glory of God and to serve our neighbors.
